HEART STATION
The Christ The King Medical Center Unihealth Las Piñas (CTKMC-ULP) Heart Station provides diagnostic procedures needed for the evaluation of patients with suspected or unknown heart-related disorders. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machines, with highly experienced cardiologists and technologies to provide accurate results and high levels of patient satisfaction through safe quality care.
SERVICES:
• 2d Echocardiogram
A 2D Echocardiogram, often referred to as “2D-Echo”, is an ultra sound of the heart that uses two-dimensional volume, color and Doppler to evaluate overall cardiac functions and blood flow across the cardiac valves. The test will determine disease of the heart muscles, heart tumor and congenial hearts detects. Our Heart Station offers adult, pediatric and fetal echocardiogram.
• Electrocardiogram
An Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) is a routine cardia test that measures the electrical activity of the heart to show any irregularity in the rhythm, enlargement, old, and recent heart attacks.
• 24-Hour Holter Monitoring
Also known as Ambulatory ECG, the Holter Monitor records a patient’s electrical activity for 24 hours to help evaluate heat abnormalities or irregularities during the day while they perform their daily activities and in sleep.
• Treadmill Stress Test
This help the cardiologist know how a patient’s heart will respond to physical stress, assess symptoms such as chest pain and palpitations to determine whether the problem is coming from the heart. Also, the test will determine if the patient is likely to develop coronary artery disease.
• 24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
